    Shaky Head/Ned Rig/Drop Shot Line

What 8-10 lb. line do you guys use on your spinning outfit for shaky heads, ned rigs and drop shots? I've used Fluroclear from PLine and have been pretty successful. I bought some Sunline Sniper and it had an anormous amount of memory. I ended up taking all of it off my spools last night. Love Sunline for my baitcasters but in my opinion it has too much memory for spinning reals.

    Thanks!

For the most part I've got 3 different set ups for what you're talking about. Shakey head is 10lb invisix on a baitcaster or 8lb invisix on spinning, Ned rig is straight 6lb Sniper (same set up I use for spybaits) and dropshot is 20lb PowerPro slick with an 8lb Tatsu leader. I used to use Flouroclear for almost everything and it worked well. The past few years I've gotten more specific with my line and I think it's helped me get some more bites.

I use 7lb Sunline Shooter for all those applications. Dropshot is a braid and leader combination, the others techniques I prefer a set up with straight fluorocarbon.

Im using 10lb invisix as well. But i am running a baitcaster setup with a med action rod on my drop shot setup. Just feels better to me. I ned rig and jig with the med and finnesse spinning setups. All have full fluoro on them. The invisix isnt to bad on memory.

talked to the maker of poor boy baits and asked him about floro or braid for his baits and he told me he likes regular magnathin in 6 or 8 lb test, maybe we are getting too "modern" with all these choices
