I don't ever go straight flouro on my spinning reels. Just to much twist and reduced casting distance for me

I like 20lb braid with a 6-10 lb fluoro leader, usually Sunline FC 8 lb. The 20 lb braid sounds like overkill, but it's much easier for me to manage. Besides, it's the same diameter as 6lb mono.

Same as above .... 6 - 8# Seaguar Tatsu. Expensive, but worth every penny of its cost, and then some.

Just a hint when using any fluorocarbon as your main line on spinning gear. Spool diameter is everthing. The bigger the better. I use 3000 series Shimano Soros' and have used 10# Tatsu on them with very little problems. Absolutely zero problems when using the 6 - 8# Tatsu that I mentioned earlier.

As far as InvisX goes ...... I'll just say "not a fan" and leave it at that. Give Tatsu a try ..... I promise you will not be sorry you spent the extra money. Well ..... maybe you will, because once you try it you won't be able to fish with anything less.

    It really is that good.

I use straight 8 lb tatsu for shakey head, 15 lb power pro and an 8lb leader with a vmc hook tied between it to reduce line twist for drop shot.. and haven't tried ned rig yet
