BBC member BILLY right in the middle of the fires

Communicated with Billy today. He was having to evacuate. His family, dogs, horses and his Champion boat were all leaving. Fire came into his town. Hope everything ends up well for him.

Had a cousin in Santa Rosa leave his house at 1:30 in the morning with about 5 minutes to spare, his yard was on fire and roadside was burning, he had gone to his other house in Bodega Bay. thinks his house is gone.

That situation is horrible. It's been a rough ride for disaster this year.

Thanks all for the thoughts. Cars are loaded with all the pictures. The little girls truck is hooked up to the goose neck horse trailer and ready to load the horses. The champ is up at grannies and we're hoping it won't burn up there. As of now, fires to the north and south of us. A lot of people never had a chance to pack. I believe a buddy lost his 202 when their house burned down.

Great to hear Billy. Also looks like rain your way later in the week. One good rain will really put a damper on these fires.

Yea. Rain will be good. They have a tanker dumping fire retardant. I think it's a 747. Thing is massive!!!
