What to do with a little extra $$$$

What should I add to my boat with about $2,000 to blow?
I already have (2)10' poles, hydro plate, HDS7 gen 3 at bow, HDS9 at console. I'm thinking an electronics upgrade, but on the bow or console? Or maybe put the 9 alongside the 7 at the bow and add a 12 at the console. Or a Minnkota with spot lock? Or ?????????

    I would get an Ultrex.

If that isnt something you want then next would be a second HDS 9 so you could do duals at the console, put them side by side so you can do left SI on one and right SI on the other to get an extra wide good look.

Not having one and fishing offshore structure mostly, I would say Ultrex. But if you dont, I would put a 12 on the console and move that 9 up front. But once again, that would be for offshore structure fishing............soooooooooo Ultrex.
    And I'm envious.

Hands down an ultrex and its not even close. I put one on my boat about a month ago and love it. Its the best fishing investment (if there is such a thing) that ive made. Maybe even sell the fortrex and put a bird at the bow to link it to. I spend the majority of my time offshore
They aint got hands, set the hook

Never had my money get ahead of my todo list. Don't think you can go wrong with either
an electronic or ultrex upgrade. That is my next 2 on the list.
    Congrats.

Now you're going to complicate things. I do have C-channel.
I'm thinking it's between electronics and Ultrex.
    Eeny-meeny-miny-moe. ........

Tough decision. Then the 360 would be nice too!

Ultrex hands down I use it more than my poles even in the shallows and does not take but a good wind to have the waves get up a little and you can still go down the bank using auto pilot. I have said way more than once this is the most I have ever fished on two feet in my life!

Also waiting out with 25-100 boats before a tournament just hit spot lock and you are the not the one constantly moving your boat around etc.

Well.......as stated here numerous times, the Ultrex is the answer and contrary to popular belief it is not "just" for deep water.
Unfortunately you cant buy one for $2,000.00
