135hp Optimax gallon per hour @ wide open throttle??

Borrowing a boat for an upcoming tournament and trying to figure out if I need to carry fuel and how much.

Boat is an 18' aluminum with a tunnel motor is and 02 Mercury 135 Optimax w/ jet drive lower. How many gallons per hour will this motor burn at full throttle?

    Thanks!

No way for us to calculate. If the boat has a Smartcraft Instrument (such as a MercMonitor), you could likely go for a WOT RUN and get a pretty good idea from the data in the instrument (fuel consumption).

If you need further assistance, please be sure to provide the engine serial number. Thanks!
