    mounting transducer inside hull

    has anyone had any luck mounting a dragonfly 7 pro transducer inside the hull ,boat is a 91 basscat p 11..or info on how to do this and make it work???

    Probably not going to like the result. Kayak guys do it, but they are shooting through very little material. Most "shoot thru transducers are 600W. Dragonfly CHIRP transducer is around 25W of power. Not likely to get through a bass boat hull with results you will be happy with.

    Are you looking for a "high speed" transducer? Curious why you wouldn't mount on the transom.

    I live and fish lake fork and her stumps are very hard on transom mounted transducers.

    Been there many times and can’t disagree. Unfortunately, there isn’t a good shoot thru option for Dragonfly.
