My Z7 with a 150 will only run 60. I would stay away from that rig.

Friend of mine has a 2013 with a 200 pro xs. He get around 64 with 2 guys and full gas. Might see upper 50s with a light load and one person but IMO I would worry about hole shot tournament loaded with a 150. Resale value would suffer. 100 hp less than max would be a tough sell

I might believe his speedo says 60 but no way the boat is actually going that fast. Any time I see blatantly false info in an item for sale I just walk away because there is not telling what else is mis-represented.

doesnt seem like a great deal to me and have a guy in the club with a Z8 with a 200 and is miserable that Bass Pro sold him on it. you can pay the same $ for a max HP rigged Z8 or Z9 in that year. i paid $22K for my 08 this year.

I have a 2013 Z8 with a 200 on it, no way I would ever consider getting a Z8 with a 150 on it. Unless all your planning on doing is idling around. Hole shot will be horrendous and no way that boat is hitting 60mph. Tournament loaded with a 12' Talon I will hit 63 on a good day. Lightly loaded I can hit 66. I would keep looking, lots of nicer boats out there.

Seriously that price is no good, but the 150 would be fine for 50ish mph and decent wholeshot, like if I had a kid who really wanted a bass boat I'd get this, 70mph and inexperiance is terrible when your young and dumb.

I had a miserable hole shot with my Z7 and 150. I had to change props and add a jack plate to get a decent hole shot and 60 mph. Put that same motor on a heavier Z8, and you got a hog in a wallow.

i have a 100 horse 2+2 on a heavy glass deep v, it only goes 33 but its holeshot beats my 250z8 everyday, its called pitch, you run less you get a better holeshot, and slower top end, the 150 could easily beat my 250 out of the hole. it aint going to use a 25p and go 70+

Whoa! No way! Not for that price. I just bought my 2008 Z9 with a 250 and $5k worth of electronics for $22.500. That setup would go nowhere very quickly! Now if you could get that thing for a whole lot less, and have a 250 sitting around, hmm!
