    Enertia prop on vrod

I have a concept that the lower unit that comes on the verado 250 is more blunt than others so it creates a greater cavity behind it at high speeds and that is part of the reason a Bravo or larger blade prop tends to do well on that motor so I was wondering if anyone has tried the Mercury enertia as of yet on a verado to see if the larger blades help at all to reduce slip. Thank you.
Where are the BIG ones? When are we going?

I ran one on my older Verado when I had it- it did very well.

How did it compare to bravo for performance and handling?

Unfortunately, I was running a Mirage on that rig. Very comparable to the Mirage... except that:

    -Holeshot slightly better on Enertia
-Mirage had a slight edge on top end (slightly more lift).

I haven't run an Enertia, but from what I've heard, they've been the best 3 blade prop on the Verado equipped Warrior (multi-species/walleye) boats. A lot of them are spec'd with the Enertia from the factory.

I think you might be onto something with that analysis of why the bigger diameter props work better on the Verado.
