These are some of the best instructional videos I've found on basic maintenance tasks for a Honda outboard. They reference a 225, but these techniques will cross reference for most late model mid-to-high HP Honda engines. Hope they help.

Thanks, those and the others on his YouTube channel are very well done.
My BF115 turned to be slightly different from the drain plug and plate in the video, but close enough. Watched the videos a couple of time on the oil and LU. Took me a total of 2 hours to change both, and that was including having to pressure wash tha lake scum off the OB before I started.
