    trip to tippy with idbefishing

    Idbefishing and I went out to tippy river below oakdale. Got to run around in his river boat, and get in some fishing on saturday. Can't say we slayed them, but we did catch fish, and was nice to be out fishing the river in october.

    It was nice to be on that river for the first time, very interesting place. Maybe next time no finger digit will be harm How is it by the way?

    Finger is still purple black and hurts, but better than a hook in hand.

    That brings back memories. Spent a few weeks every summer on the Tippy at families cottages. Good times indeed.

    When I was at purdue, I'd spend my food money on gas to go up to oakdale and wade for walleye. Usually caught enough to give me good meals for the week with a bag of taters and a few onions.
