Does my 2001 E175FSLSI have a exhaust pressure sensor and does it need to be cleaned?
yes, look at the right side of the motor. You'll see a hose with a silver disk attached to it follow it down to the bottom of the block, that is where the exhaust pressure sensor lives.
does the hose come off the ecu? If so do you have to take off the bottom cowling?
It does come off the EMM and yes you will have to remove the starboard belly pan.

thank you
do you take it out of the block to clean it?
I got it out , it looks like the end of it burned off. it has 2 little holes are they suppose to be open?
Yes. Soak in some engine tuner.
If the end has burned off you need to replace it. Just did this on my buddy's Etec. Made all the difference in how his motor ran.
Thank you all for the help.
They are extremely hard to find. I was lucky to find one on here from a fellow member
I put the new exhaust pressure sensor and gapped the plugs, it started right up but when you open the throttle to take off it still dies, any other ideas.
This spring I had one within 3 days.....they're not an uncommon part....
I am going to buy a new set of plugs tomorrow. What if you cannot get them all to index? Do I need more than 6 plugs?
Yes, I used to buy 12 but the Pro's say it can be done with 8
