    ProXS water pressure

I was reading past posts and stickies about operating and idle pressures. My idle pressure shows 0.8 psi. MM , but the stream is strong. Is the idle water pressure the only real indication of water pump condition because of ram pressure?
I still have the same water pump from when i purchased the boat so I think I will refresh it to know exactly where it is but just curious.
As I understand min at idle 1.5-3 and min WOT is 15 psi or more.
I am running hydraulic plate so just wanting to make sure I know what I need to be looking for.

Visual inspection and pressure/temperature are the only indicators.
