    Post Oil pooling up in the center of fly wheel

    250 SHO .
    The middle of the fly wheel where the crankshaft comes thru has pill in it.

    has anyone ever seen this?

    I have a picture but can't figure out how to post from phone.

    Do you mean the block, where the crank shaft comes out? The flywheel is bolted to the top of the crank shaft.

    What is the birthday of your motor? Early SHO's had a situation where the oil seal could migrate out of position, spilling oil. A retainer/clip has been added to hold the oil seal into position.

    The original powerhead was a 12 that went out and was replaced in 15 .

    Yes it is in the center of the fly wheel where the crankshaft is . The weird thing is under the underside of
    the fly wheel is clean and dry.
