First Time Boat Owner...Looking to rebuild casting deck on 1989 Ranger 363V...Help!!

    Hello All,

First time bass boat owner. Just got a 1989 Ranger 363V and would like the remove the "lounge" seat on the left, rebuild the storage and extend the deck all the way to the consoles.

Anybody have any videos, instructions, and or pictures of there that may inspire me?

    Much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Tony

Thank you very much. My deck is a little different but this gives me some guidance. Thanks.

Vbasser3 did an excellent job on that project - great workmanship!

Dimensional lumber can get really heavy really quick though. You could achieve similar results using aluminum angle or square tubing for the framing (or 1/2" plywood with 1/2" x 1" "cleats" sandwiched along the top edge - picture engineered I-joists for houses) to support the plywood decking to shave weight. Coat all the wood with epoxy resin and fiberglass cloth and it will be super strong, but light weight.
