    SHO already has reliability issues..... so...lets add a couple hundred or more HP and the added stress of that and see what happens. I loved the way Steve Jarrells SHO looked and appeared to run on his Allison but , it didn't have enough hard hours on it to show if reliability was there. I have no ties or dedication to Mercury so if Wayne's re-worked SHO is proved to be good for 400+ hours of reliability I'd possibly be game for one.

    I thought SCJ SHO dynoed 354 at the the crank when it first got the reflash.

    That's what I remember also. Which my guess would be 315-320 at the prop , pretty close to a box stock 300xs but , the SHO's low end torque would kill the 300xs.

    I don’t think I would give up on the 2 stroke power just yet.
