    Question about custom wheels

I have a Triton TR20 on a dual axle trailer. It has 205/75/14 tires. If I want to put custom wheels on it, can normal automobile wheels work, or does it have to be a special trailer wheel?

You need the 5 on 4.5 lug pattern with "0" off set... I suggest you look at trailer wheels specifically.

You can also buy wheels on ebay. Just type in "trailer wheel". When I bought mine this spring I also found a nice chart online that showed tire sizes. That way I could compare with what I already had and know it would fit. I went from a 14" to a 15" wheel.

As long as you go as suggested 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern and zero offset you do not have to go with a trailer wheel. I went from 14" to 17" on my Ranger trailer

Your passenger car tire is too big for the trailer.... You should always have 2 full inchs or 3 fingers clearance between the tire and fender.

It is the exact same height tire as the 14 inch that were on it, used a wheel tire calculator so everything spec'ed out exactly the same, height, width, diameter, with the same exact clearance. simply plus sized .. BTW It has 2 fingers of clearance way it sits in the picture. have over 2500 miles on it since wheel tire swap with zero issues. Tires are an xtra load tire as well and are within 50 pounds of the load rating of the 14 trailer tire that was on there.

You will not find anybody to beat these guys prices to your door. Lots of wheel and tire combos to choose from. I've now purchased 10 tires and wheels from them over the last two years for two different boat trailers and one utility trailer. Good price and prompt delivery.

NICE! I like the old school 5-spoke look.
