Pro four 300 VS verodo 300

Something like 40 pounds lighter going with the pro four, is this all the difference of the 5.44 offshore gear case vs the standard gearcase

reason this is pertinent is I want to buy a verodo 300 that's Ice white and can not get a pro four in that color. I am also willing to give up a couple mph for the offshore gear case since merc says it them sevles that it is 5 times stronger.

Thanks, so the verodo pro squeezes 8 or so % more staying in the 10% maximum aloud to call it say 300? And the standard verodo is a straight number?

The Verado Pro utilizes the ability to use different fuel OCTANES to achieve better performance (in addition to the other noted changes). Also it comes with the 4.8" gearcase in most cases (all that I have seen).

That 4.8" case is quite reliable... and is often better suited to a bass-boat application.

    Not knocking the 5.44... it's one great-big, solid-as-a-rock gearcase!
