Question about PVS props with 8 holes

I have a Razor 4xl, what difference if any does it make if you use the front vent holes versus the back ones?

It matters in some situations, start plugging the holes closest to the prop nut first.

I did but I just can't get the holeshot that I want, close but not quite.

Then pull one of them out and change it.

What are you trying to get it to do gain rpm's on hole shot or loose them.

Right now I'm running two smalls and two large in the outside holes. Holeshot is pretty good but I have to feather the throttle just before it breaks over but when I put water in the livewells the holeshot is slow. I'm going fishing next weekend and plan to try and tweak it a little more. Plan on taking a lot of notes then!!
