I too have Hanks plugs. They are some of the best you'll find.

Got my plugs in from Hank today!!! They look good and are easier to remove than the cheaper plastic ones.....i had purchased 2 from the Phoenix website when i got the boat, had one flyout, not sure how it worked itself out of the hole......great addition to boat.....

When my boat comes I will get some from hank as well. Little confused though, does the boat come without plugs which may may not cause leaking in compartments or are they just plain with no design so folks get better ones? Thanks

I'm guessing Hank's metal version prevents the chance of them popping/flying out of the holes? I've lost a few plastic plugs along the way.

none of them are going to fly out

I have the delrin solid ones and they are really hard to get out, Im thinking of drill and tap so I can screw a bolt in to remove them or go back to the plastic ones the boat came with. I go back and forth on using a seat or not

Plastic ones for sure fly out....
Unless you're talking about metal, which I'm hoping wouldn't.

If you keep the plastic ones just ring them with electric tape...they wont fly out then...

Make sure to keep them clean or dirt and debris can cause them to be tighter than they should be coming out. A quick wipe down with bbs while your doing the boat does the trick. Also, make sure the hole is clear and your not installing the plug along with a few carpet fibers.

I too ordered and received Hank’s plugs. Perfectly machined and a quality product! 100% better than the ones from Phoenix.

    Thanks Hank!
