Good to finally connect with you as well.

I'm bummed we couldn't get the weather to cooperate. I was really looking forward to doing some serious top speed running. Still a great time and the weather was awesome, just a little intermittent on the wind side which tossed a wrench in top speed running for us. Luckily the stop in St. Louis was nice on the way down or I would have been singing the blues.

I will say I left impressed with a few things.

    1. Allison owners are great people. I felt like I was welcomed into a family. You and Joey, Jeff, and Johnny made the trip worth it all even if the boats would have sat on the trailers all weekend. I'm looking forward to the next event.

    2. Tim Powell can drive. You can tell you get a lot of practice running long stretches. No way I was going to keep up on the turns and in the mixed wind. Not sure anyone hung with you on the poker run return run.

    3. Tim's boat is going to blow by 100 loaded to fish when the right conditions line up.

    4. Tim owns the only Hydromotive prop I like. Your 30 is the only one I have run that can compete with a stock promax or bravo on my boat. As a bonus it will also run up on the top end. I regret not trying for a bigger number when we had that magic 10 minutes of water bliss Jeff ran in. Great wheel.

    5. We had some of the best Stroker drivers in the country at the rally. Those guys could drive those boats. I never felt comfortable running full trim or going for a big number. I saw them running well into triple digits in stuff I wouldn't go over mid-90's in. I'm impressed with how those boats handled the gusty wind. We never had rough water it was just intermittent unpredictable gusts that shifted locations. When my nose was trimmed out it was getting pushed all over the place. The Strokers looked locked in. Very impressed.

    6. Allison's are amazing load carrying boats. (I couldn't end with Strokers.....) I ran 100lbs heavier than I typically run loaded to fish and boat still ran some big numbers.
