    The Big O

    Planning a trip in a month wondering what the fishing is like up around the north shore mainly from harney pond to Indian Prairie. Also are the harney pond ramps open?

    Harney Pond ramps are open. can't say much about the fishing as I only caught 4 today. no worries about hitting anything as water is highest its been in 12 years.

    November is a hero or zero kind of month under normal conditions.....with the water high atleast you can run around and not worry about ruining your boat....cover some water and you might run into a good one. Either way lake o is a great time

    As noted, November can be tough. My current worry is the integrity of the lake wall.
    We definitely need it to hold up on rain in the Everglades, and uphill, for awhile.
