    New to LSC- Advice?

Finally calling Macomb my new home. Been out on LSC a few times, absolutely no luck. Only caught a few large mouth in the grass. Been to the entrance to North Channel in the grass, in a few home canals and anchor Bay. Drove down and fished in between middle and south channel where the wrecks are. Tried drop shot and tubes and spinner baits, only caught largemouth on swim baits. Not in it for tournaments, just looking for a fun day of fishing for some good smallmouth before winds kick up. Launch out of Selfridge, best day has been the grass between Harley and Metro in 4-6 FOW. Any advice from anybody would be greatly appreciated! Maybe my 1/4 tubes are too heavy?

Dont feel bad... I have fished there for 30+ years... I spent all day on the lake Sunday from 3-17 fow and never caught a smallmouth. I fished tubes, dropshots, spinnerbaits etc... I caught 1 small LM and an 8lb sheephead. My partner never got bit.. ...................... Maybe I should have gone to

Had real good luck on the south shore last week with a 5/8 tube snapping it 2-3 times and then letting it sit. If not bit, twitch, twitch, drag, pause, snap again. Repeat.

18 fow was the magic number.
