    Mileage

I was killing some time at the rally this past weekend and was looking at the logged mileage on my HDS and Merc monitor. I brought this boat home on July 4, 2015.

I defaulted the HDS in the dash when I bought the boat to set it up the way I wanted it. The current total distance traveled is 4,218 Miles

I replaced the system monitor with a Merc Monitor and the current fuel usage is 909 gallons and the MM MPG average is 4.7 mpg. And the current engine hours is 195.

I thought it was pretty interesting, and surprising.

4.7mpg with a 300hp motor on a 21 foot boat that is held wide open for as long as you do is pretty impressive.

I have always dumped the info so I can tell how much gas I have ran out of the tank.

The filling station is a good monitor to tell me how much I burned that day.
