Settled up with my partner last Tuesday. He's getting the boat. I always promise my partners we will split any winnings. Started with the first one I won. My partner was my sons father-in-law. He got my old boat. Keeps friends and family happy that way.

Jim, we had a plan if we won it, my partner already has a Ranger Z20 and I have a 1995 Charger, so needless to say, I was going to have to come up with some cash to buy out his half, but we negotiated that before the tournament, just in case... Good on you for keeping your partner whole on the deal...

I wasn't too hip on Pro-Hunts boat colors in the pictures but I will say that thing popped on the water! The blue and silver really looks good. The dash is slightly different than my 2005 too.

Also, it's guys like David and is brothers that keep Charger going. How many boats have you guys bought now??

My brothers have each bought one. We have bought one used one and now 2 new ones.

Who is more anxious David, you or your bride? Did you get an expected completion date? Joe asked me yesterday when I might want mine. I told him late January to mid February. Want some time on the water to work out any bugs before our club starts in mid March.

Going from Motor Guide to Ultrex, with the controls on the pedal reversed, might be a big learning curve for me anyhow. I'm old

The Ultrex is definitely awesome. Having spot lock has spoiled me for sure.

It's all good. I know you said you were looking at the 210, but I didn't know you were that serious. Congrats on the new 210, you boatless bank trash.

Ultrex is great in deep water, poles or anchors for shallow water or you will be blowing water into the vegetation just like you would with a plane trolling motor.
