Boat buying frustrations...

I had a great conversation with Richie at Weida's today... Learned alot about the Phoenix and that Yamaha has a warranty promo on till mid November for 6yrs of warranty with purchase right now.. Richie answered all my questions and we agreed on basic trade values. Still haven't decided on manufacturer yet - maybe that's part of the fun LOL!

They are really a great bunch of guys!

The challenge is all the 21ft rigs I have looked at are coming in at around 70k and are all great boats! Hoping to pull the trigger in the next two weeks so I still have time to break it in before the water gets hard! Want it ready for a Big O vacation trip in early April :-)

I should have mentioned that I got my used Skeeter from Weida's and yes they are a great bunch of straight shooters. I traveled about 6 hours to pick the boat up sight unseen except for pictures and they did not disappoint. Can't recommend them enough.

I love their videos! They have been great to me on the phone and my buddy bought at FX21 from them and also said they are great!

My local ranger dealer is Vics Boats in Kent OH and they have been great as well...

Boat shopping is almost like work !!!!

I have been a Bullet owner since 1995 and I looked at a lot of different brands before I bought my last new one this past spring. I know what you are talking about being like work,there is a lot of quality brands out there to look at. I like having a dealer close for any issues especially for the motor,anything on the boat you can probably fix yourself. Good luck looking.

pretty complete package for me..i don't fish tourneys,,,,,,just saying

My boat buying frustrations are over - I bought a new Ranger 521C today :-)

Ended up trading in my Champion, Vic's really treated me well on the trade in and when you add in the savings in sales tax, it just all worked out perfect!

You made a great choice.. . I had 3 Champions before my Ranger and after fishing out of this boat for 4 seasons I'm still very happy with my decision. You will love the new rig....post pics when u get it

but rangers look great on the trailer or sitting a bay...
but when i see one go by on step i think to my self .... trim up.
