Cabelas to start selling Nitro boats

Maybe old news, but I was pleased to see that Cabelas will start selling and servicing Nitro boats. BPS completed the acquisition of Cabelas last week:

Nitros in several Cabelas now - I would say Legend is going away - I mean he got rid of Stratos and they were building way more Stratos than legends...

I've heard nothing about us carrying Legends, but we're definitely getting the Nitros.

I would find it hard to believe that they would discontinue Legend boats. Legend is a great boat and have a big following. I HOPE they don't get rid of them and I'm a Nitro guy. But looked hard a Legend before purchasing.

The Cabelas in Huntsville Al is already carrying Nitros....Looked at some today....I did ask the salesman about Legend. His opinion was they're going away after 2018.
I hope not but I guess only Johnny knows at this point.

If it's like most items in Cabelas these days, Nitro boats won't be in stock & we'll have to order them from the store kiosks 1st! SMH

Our local Cabelas still has a Stratos on the floor. Not sure if its a boat showroom or a museum. ;)

I stopped in my local Cabela's and all the Stratos boats were gone. I asked if they sold them and he kept avoiding the question. I asked 4 times and he always said, They are not making them anymore. In any case, there were Rangers, and Nitros on the floor with Trackers and a Mako in the back lot waiting to come in.

Legend may have a"big" following to the current owners but in the Johhny Morris world, not very many are made. That alone puts them at risk.

Johnny Morris world???.... It's the real world not many legends were being sold. And declining sales was not a good sign.

Bryan, I wasn’t slamming JM, I have A LOT of respect for him. I guess I should have said from his perspective.
