    MOTOR MATE

Anyone here use the Motor Mate support on their Mecury/Bullet? If so, what is your opinion on it?

When you use a motor mate do you trim down just until it touches or until you think you have all the weight of the tramson?

Forgot to ask, are there any vendors or sponsors here on the board that sell them?

Motormate is a sponsor. Buy directly from them.

Youll never get the weight off the transom. When you trim it down you take the weight off the trim ram but the same weight is still there

Ummmmmmmmmmm................ NO. I guess you have not followed bass boats with a stick style and compared this to the motor mate... No comparison.

No, a motormate style motor support locks the engine down with the trim ram so that it doesn't bounce or turn. That is their sole purpose. They shouldn't be called transom savers, they should be called locking motor supports. JMHO.

But in my theory the trailer should take most of the road through the suspension of the trailer and I want to keep the motor from bouncing around and in my opinion and what works for me is the old stick and has been around a long time and have yet to have any any stress cracks but I would be interested in what Bullet recommends as it’s there boats and trailers made to there spec.
