Garmin (non chirp) 93sv / transducer

Why when I check on website for transducer compatibility, does it say this with the GT40, which I know is compatible with the 73/93sv non chirp units?

    Frequency Traditional (77/200 kHz); ClearVü/SideVü CHIRP 455 kHz (425-485 kHz) & 800 kHz (790-850 kHz)
this isnt a chirp model, but all the transducers list the frequencies as chirp...this is confusing to me.

The nonCHIRP refers to the traditional 2D, which is listed correctly for the GT40 as nonCHIRP 77/200 kHz. The CHIRP echoMAPs offer both 2D CHIRP as well as Clear/SideVu CHIRP.
