    Bass biting ?

I know most on here are tight lipped on their favorite lakes but still going to ask. Going to take an old buddy fishing Thursday and just wondered where everyone would go to get the most bites. Don't care about getting big bites just some action. Lake Decatur is fishing pretty good right now but is off limits all week due to next Sunday's classic tourney. Ill be on Shelbyville all weekend so won't go there. Clinton ? Taylorville? Pana ? Springfield ? Open to all suggestions and not looking for spots just a lake that isn't in a funk

I'll second that...buddy was just there over the weekend and the bite was great!

Follow the bait fish. I'm finding bass suspended under them. When the bass feed they are pushing them to the shore line and are aggressive and easy to catch. I've seen the same pattern on two separate lakes the last two weeks.

No suggestions as far as water. I have had zero luck with hard baits the last few weeks. Everything has been on soft plastics.

I'd take him over to Clinton and wear out the sore heads in the marina. There were a bunch more released in there this past weekend. Start at the ramp and fish your way south...they are there.
