    175 2 stk oil useage

took her out to some fishing, before i left i put a small red mark on my VRO
tank (pretty much full) and at the end of the day it went down about an inch
or so . do they really suck up that much oil? well had a 40 hp (i know it's not the same)
and hardly used that much. so are we ok with this being a bigger motor?

How much fuel used? At WOT the mix is 50:1 as the RPM's decrease so does the oil consumption. So if you went thru 12 gallons of gas you would have used close to a quart of oil.

If you think about it you would use more if you were pre-mixing. The VRO mixes at approx 100:1 at idle RPMs and consumption increases as the RPMs increase. By premixing you are at a constant 50:1 and actually using more oil.
