That's why most of the summertime tourneys are at night on that lake. But fishing from November to March is excellent

Was there this spring with a group. One of the guys was running and had two cigar, go fast boats pass him on either side. He was going 65 and they went by him like he was sitting still, said they must have been doing 90 to 100 and scared the crap out of him.

Or Havasu on a holiday! Having fished LOZ and going to Havasu id rather spend my time at the ramps watching people trying to load up the boat at the end of the day.

some of us who love LOZ learn to appreciate all that summer traffic for giving our fish time to relax and recover in the summertime.....I guarantee that the lake is a better fishery overall due to that heavy traffic in the summer months.

The OP's thread title says "LOZ AT ITS FINEST" I've never been to LOZ. But, from what I have heard and have seen on the interweb, LOZ "at its finest" happens in some place called the "Party Cove!"

It sucks that all the wakes just bounce right off the bluffs and come right back out to the lake. I love that lake in the fall though. Spent a week out there last fall and want to go back.

Same here. I have an 1860 aluminm jet boat and I have no problems being out there during that time frame. I'll be up there fishing the Big Bass Bash in it in two weeks, but I'll definitely try to stay in the backs of the creek arms. All the fishermen traffic will have the lake bouncing pretty good, but nothing like those big cruisers.

Used to fish two tourneys a year out of Bass point resort. Did it in my 17' Tracker with 40hp. Not fun at all but I'm still alive lol. We would run from Bass point to the Gravois arm and back. Got a lil rough to say the least. Still whacked em though.
