    Water pressure

    What is the normal water pressure range for the 250 pro XS.

    That's a loaded question.....What is "normal" for me, may not be "normal" for you.

    Water pressure readings should be taken @ WOT and @ Idle......What are your readings, during those two conditions?

    3 psi I guess at idle...and 14 or so wide open... hard to tell on a 0-50 psi gauge...
    just put a new water pump in and it comes off peg now at idle, it didn't before.

    Most people nowadays have a digital readout because mechanical gauges are not accurate.

    Idle is fine.
    15 PSI is the minimum at WOT.

    Different lower units and motor heights achieve higher pressures at WOT.
    WOT on my boat is 30 PSI.
