    2018 Eyra at one month

Well I have had my 2018 Erya for about a month now and she is broke in and fished hard. The transition for a Sabre to the Erya was not as easy as I thought it would be but I have control of the beast now, I have no problem cruising at 75 plus and top end is easy. She looks fast and she is!!!! I am running a 25 T-2 SHO with a hydro jack plate. I have topped out so far at 80.2 gps but was on the limiter so a new prop is on order (26 T-2 SHO). I have no doubt that I will be in the lower 80's with the weather getting cooler! I am super happy with the SHO...I have the speed and still get a great hole shot (3-5 seconds) (no matter what weight I have in the boat) and mid range is fun to say the least.
I have fished two tournaments out of her so far and both had great results....took 3rd place in the first one with 14 pounds but had the opportunities to have a much better string. The second tournament I took full advantage of all the hits and weighed in 25.20 pounds for first place and the largest string of the year for ALBC. I had the boat on the trailer for almost two hours before weigh in and the bass were lively as hell!! Right now I have ZERO negative things to say about the combo I bought and would recommend the boat to anyone. On of my partners that owns a 21 foot R boat has stated that the Erya has a better ride in the rough stuff......I will leave it at that.....

Man I want an Eyra SOOO bad!! But garage size and funds for now won't allow it. I was on the lake today and saw a BCB pass (wasn't an Eyra but had a 250) and I told my wife 4-5 years and well be comfortably ready. She loves the BassCats and I've been a Ranger fan all my life and love my boat but the last 6-8 months all I've had on my mind ate BassCats particularly the Eyra. You got pictures up? I'd love to see it.

I've always said the Eyra is the ultimate Red River boat. It just does everything required to fish there better than just about any rig out there. But put it on Toledo and it surprises a lot of people. It reallly handles big water very well.

    Great purchase - enjoy!

Congrats on your first place winning in the Eyra.
For me the Eyra is the best boat on the market. It meets or exceeds an anglers needs despite shallow water, big water or running a curvy river / bayou.
Get some pics up of your boat.

Elwood - that Eyra sure is pretty. You must have seen one like it that swayed you towards those colors! And it will fly! 80 is awesome and I'm sure you will add a couple to it once you get that 26 on there. Oh and make sure you change your signature to reflect your new Eyra! As far as catching fish...Elwood can flat out get it done! That 25lb sack was strong.

Sharp looking Eyra! My son just had a high school tournament yesterday on Lake Livingston and we saw a lot of Bass Cats as usual in east Texas. They are everywhere around here.
