Adding LED back up lights is now easier than ever....

If you have the 5 wire trailer wireing, You are good to go. If you only have 4, Then you would need to get the 5 wire plug.

You just tap into the blue back up selonoid release wire and run a wire to the back. The RED LED's turn WHITE when in REVERSE... No mounting or ugly wiring to do.

    I bought mine here>>> https://www.4statetrucks.com//lighti...tion_40232.asp

They are not as bright as I hoped, But still better than I had.

I wonder if someone makes these in a non-recessed tail light?

The (bright) lights in the picture appear to be recessed into the frame. My trailer lights are plastic rectangular assemblies.

Next improvement would be flashing yellow for turn signals (euro-style).

    Waterproof?

My backup lights are my only remaining non-LED....these look cool. also the 4" round may flush mount nicely into my fenders with a little drilling.....

I will try and remember to do that the next time I get the boat out in the dark.

I'm not sure how this would be an improvement.... Another wire circuit would be needed. I like the KISS method whenever possible.

I just looked at my trailer.. i have a 5 pin plug but I don't have a blue wire. If my memory serves me correctly I think I have two brown wires. I wonder which wire I would connect it to..

Disregard... I am colorblind I have a blue wire

Nice. On the video it showed a yellow wire plugging into a black wire that branched off to two wires. Did u cut the connector off of the yellow wire and connect that wire to the wire you ran off of the blue wire?

    Thanks,
    Tim

No... I put a female Bullet plug connector on the blue wire to accept the yellow wire bullet, light plug
