    Optimax 150 Fuel pressure regulator

Mercury Optimax 150 Serial No 1B585728

    Boat ran good last week.
Get to the ramp this morning crank up and cut off couple times before i get tide to dock. After I park the truck I crank the boat and it revved high at start up. Cut it off and then notice fuel coming out exhaust.

Got home and check my fuel pressure regulator and it has a tear in it but not sure which one I need.

    8M6002990 FUEL REGULATOR 10 psi
    or just the
    8M6002988 DIAPHRAM KIT

Will get my mercury dealer to calibrate the regulator after i install it.

The Diaphram Kit is what you need. Strongly, Strongly recommend you get this THROUGH the Mercury Dealer who will be installing it, and verifying the calibration of the regulator.
