    BFL on Watts Bar this weekend

    Only took 12 lbs (5 fish) to lead after the 1st day with 72 boats top 14 anglers and co-anglers battle it out tomorrow for the win.

    Dang, and isn't the lake getting better, seems like I heard back in the spring it was taking 25lbs or so to win the local heartlands?
    Want to buy old river2sea bully wa frogs.

    Sept. is always tough on the Bar, but that's still low weights for the lake any time of year. Most guys are probably fishing deeper than they need to be right now. I walked around the park for about 30 minutes yesterday and had 2 over 4 lbs and another solid keeper on a frog. And yes, it takes over 20 most of the year to win.

    The chick and nickajack have been bad lately as well. Only took 18lbs to win the cba a few weeks ago. Usually takes 25+
