    Tungsten Mushroom Head Jig?

Does anyone make a good tungsten mushroom head jig with a sharp keeper? The "ned" rig ones that are made by Z Man are getting poor reviews because of the soft hook. Just trying to see whats out there, when I search ned rig all I get is BPS and Z Man stuff to pop up. I saw some lead ones built with quality hooks in our sponsor section, I may just grab some of them. I just like the thought of a tungsten version.

As light as the weights are with the Ned, I think tungsten would be overkill, on the pocketbook if nothing else. I don't use anything heavier than 3/32 for the Ned. If I need heavier head I just go to a shakeyhead. I think my heads use a #2 EC Little Nasty.

I agree... Not any real difference in weight size at this level... The feel is about the same as well.

The heads I pour with the Do-it mold are very durable. I make sure the keeper gets coated with powder paint and cure them. This insures that the keeper stays in place.

I will be modifying all of my keeper style molds to accept the new 1 piece double-barbed wire form WDB1000 that is coming out this October.
