    Waiting for my new Henry

I have been waiting for my new Henry .410 lever action shot gun. I always wanted a .410
but did not like most out there so I stuck with .20 and 12 guage and even got a 10 guage
    handed down to me.
This new Henry has me really excited. Only problem is do I get the 20" or 24" ???
i am leaning towards the 20" as it has the rear sight and I won't be shooting long distances anyhow
    with it.
    What do y'all think?

Depends what you want to use it for, if it's just to hang on the wall, get what you think looks best.

The link made it seem like the 24" has a removable choke, and the 20" does not. That would push me over to the 24"

YES, the 24" has a removable choke. They do not come with it tho. The dealer is getting in 6 and 4 are sold already.
I'll get to see both 20" and 24". I;ll make up my mind after I hold them both and do a little more research. If I could
    swing it, I'd get both.

Sorry to hear that. I will teach my grand kids on it. They already shoot my Ruger 10/22 and 22 pistols.

I just ordered a Henry this week. Waiting on a h010b to come in

I shot a marlin 410 once. It was neat gun. A little gimmicky and not as good in the hands as a traditional shotgun but it was fun.

I am more into it for fun. It should be loike a .22 to plink as a shot gun Clays and things. Which barrel did you get with the h010b?
I really like the Brass with octogon barrel. Good luck with it

I prefer a 20g for a kid if actually hunting or shooting clays.
A .410 is pretty much a specialized type of S/G; takes a person with excellent skill to consistently hit the target.

It finally came in. I got the 20" barrel. YEAH, it is an expensive toy but I love it. Well worth the wait.

I've been wanting a Henry 45-70 blued with walnut stock. Those rifles are pure American craftsmanship. Congrats on the .410 lever action!

Thanks. I went over it very carefully and no flaws whatsoever. Their craftsmanship is second to NONE. I am very impressed.
