Sorry you are having problems with your ranger. I am sure that they will stand behind their product. What did you hit that caused the damage to your hull? Hard to believe that much damage, stringer deformation, was caused just from wave action.

I was asking myself the same question.

Ranger replaced my hull because of a stress crack in the base metal. it took 7 weeks from the time I took the boat to the factory but my dealer coordinated the effort directly with the repair shop. There are a lot of logistical problems to overcome in these situations and your dealer is the one that needs to manage those.
Following is an excerpt from my previous post:
Over all I am happy with Both Ranger and the dealer. We found the leak in May but at that time Ranger suggested that the dealer do a temporary patch so I could use the boat until later in the year when it would be more convenient for me to go without it for an extended period. Since the dealer is 1 1/2 hours away they sent a Tech to my house to make the repair to save me the drive. This worked well for me because I had some major events planned through mid August after which I took the boat to Flippin. I wish the lead time were shorter but at the same time I respect the circumstances. I also appreciate the amount of work they have to do to transfer all my electronics and other items I added. I have at least one of everything. I also took this opportunity to change color and add some options that were not available when I bought the boat. I am not happy that I had the problem but the resolution has been a collaborative effort and I am pleased with the outcome.
Sometimes the best of intention is overwhelmed by the worst of circumstance.

Bottom of that boat looks like it's been driven HARD.

What's the rest of the story? Seems like details are missing.

Just asking a stupid question here, but was the bottom of the hull like that when you bought it? If not, what are you indicating caused that damage? How many miles would you say you have on the trailer?

That is probably why Ranger is taking so long.

They are trying to answer all of the same questions.

I would be investigating too if I were Ranger. Looks like you ran this boat ashore or something

No story. Never hit anything. Never been on a large impoundment. Never left the states of Kansas or Missouri. Never been in a tournament. Hell, never made a 30 mile run.

No abrasions on the bottom. Uniformed deformity across the entire width of the boat. Seems pretty cut and dry to me.

Ranger did call and they are replacing the boat. They said it will be another 8 weeks until delivery due to backups in production.

Those assumptions don’t look good on yall.

after reading this thread, the guys that are wondering what you hit have every right to ask. You go from bashing ranger because they haven’t done anything for you, to telling us you’re getting a new Hull. Like PP said, they had investigating to do. Something “forced” your hull to do that.

Sir, did you read what I wrote? Never hit anything. I was merely answering a couple questions and keeping you apprised.

Figured I'd keep the forum updated on the progress of the situation with Ranger as some gentleman have asked...

So are you saying this happened while sitting on the trailer? If they are giving you a new boat thats great. Sorry I hear now in video you say water impact damage.
