    Pokegama BASS Classic Bracket

Anyone else surprised by the tough fishing there? I believe there were 3 anglers that didn't even have a limit. I know Sept fishing can be tough in these parts but they pretty much have the lake to themselves.

    It looks super tough.

I'm surprised how many guys are sticking to the largemouth after catching their limit. The smallmouth, not as plentiful, are usually bigger.

Im not too surprised. We had a club tourney up there at the end of august and it was tough then, and the following weekend was the Classic Bass TOC same lake and other than the top few, everyone else seemed to struggle. The weeds were very sparse and not healthy at all up there on the main lake when we were there, and the smallmouth which were good, were very tough to catch. Could see the fish on the graph and fish the spots very thoroughly and not get them. The weights for us were good, 1st had 18.5lbs for 5, i came in 2nd with just shy of 16, 3 more bags in the low 15's, and down the line. Quite a few guys in the club with no limits too, so fishing has been tough.

Looks like fishing's picking up a bit this morning. Ike's got a good SM flurry going.

Is the river off-limits for them?

I get that impression but haven't heard anyone say it yet.

It must be. Otherwise I'd expect to see a few boats by the power plant.

I think they said 63 was the boundary.

Looks like some interesting match-ups tomorrow and they'll get to fish for 6 hours.

    Lefebre vs Powroznik

    Ish vs Ike

Unfortunately, I've got to go fishing tomorrow so I won't we able to watch Bass Live. I will cope somehow.

Of all the people in that group that started out, Ish is BY FAR the last one I expected to figure out the offshore smallmouth. Lo and behold....

Somebody up there in a club tourney lose a fish overboard? JPow just caught one with a cull tag in its mouth
