personally love all the tech in my new truck. that's why i bought it. while the lane departure and adaptive cruise is cool, they are both items that you should know if you're paying attention to driving. watching the truck parallel park itself if very cool but I had to search for a place to actually test it. my favorite tech is the BLISS system. blink spot monitoring. whats really cool about the system in my f150 is it not only monitors the blind spot of the truck but also covers the entire boat trailer when it's connected. one thing I wish ford would have done is to add an audible beep to the system when you turn on your blinker and someone is in the blind spot.

This all reminds me of the movie Wall-E. The space craft that has all the huge people in chairs and everything being done for them.
i liked the prophetic view of that movie. I read a sci-fi book long ago with that subject. Wasn't that book by Isaac Asimov, published a book with obese people living in zero gravity space so that they could become larger.
