Had the dealer install my ultrex while it was having some work done. When I deploy the trolling motor the sonar (2d) will not read bottom. If I cut off the united while motor is in the water it works fine until I lift and deploy it again. Has anyone had any issues and a possible fix? I tried deploying it really slow and this did not help. Thanks.
Try changing the settings (sensitivity) on the depth finder. The US2 is working, it's the depthfinder that is having trouble finding the bottom reading and usually can be adjusted out with some of the settings.

And, you got the correct generic transducer selected on the sonar??
Which one would i choose for US 2 built into the trolling motor?
It's a 83/200khz transducer if you have a choice that indicates that.
