    Maxxum 70 direction indicator?

Its been a awesome day, I got my Maxxum 70 unit mounted after fighting a stripped nut that they sent with the unit, I finally got it all set up and pushed on the pedal and
have no direction, it does not move with the motor.

I removed the head and one of the gears is not down and the direction indicator is broken......WTF

How hard is it to replace the direction indicator and get that gear indicator set right?

That is not hard. The idler gear goes under the plastic washer on the pinion, then lines the indicator post. The indicator post has 4 "ears", two of which will line up with the motor when it is set properly. A new unit, call customer service at MinnKota and they will send you the parts.

Looks like the indicator drive is also broken...
