New prop
I recently purchased this Triton and I think its time to replace my prop on my 99 triton tr21. 225 mercury optimax currently I have the original trophy plus 4 blade 25p.
Does anyone have a better suggestion on a better prop?
Also does anyone know where I can get the best deal on a new prop?
*I will get the new old re worked and keep it as a spare*

If it's a regular 225 opti max you've got the right prop but it might need some repair. How many rpm's and mph are you getting now?

Recently 5200 rpm and about 57 mph.

You got a motor problem and a prop problem, that motor will turn a 25" trophy to the limiter light loaded if it running right. It might be running on five cylinders and not six. Check and see if the fuel lines were changed from the old gray with red letters to the newer gray with black or blue letter line. I just changed all fuel lines. I will look at the rest over the weekend

Send the prop to mark croxton. Have it repaired. Then you can eliminate that question rather cheaply.
