Can not down load Base map

Can not get BaseMap down loaded.
Been on phone for two days trying
not having any luck got 16 gb that
did not work

I have copies, I can send a preloaded card to borrow - but I'd like a deposit to ensure the card is returned however.

The file is too large to D/L directly to an SD Card unless you have a file system that supports large files, FAT32 formatted SD Cards won't take a 9GB zipped file; so unless it's NTFS or similar capable file system you can't do it.

PLUS you'd need another FAT32 formatted to copy files to so you can do the update to the CHO.

That's why they instruct to D/L to PC and unzip into folder or then to SDC.

Would need model # if interested, as the H5/7 has a smaller map than H9/10/12 does.

Also required to be running v1.46 for Helix.

No it loads to system memory - you need to remove that card and it won't keep reinstalling.

Still there, if you have a map card in the unit, you will have three choices for mapping. Actually four if you have Navionics with Sonar Charts.
