Monomonac results

This summer is going by way to fast.
We ended up having a nice day out to end the season.
It got a little warm out for a while but I'll take that over what's coming any day.
The fishing was pretty good for most of us. It was slow in the morning for me but it picked up later on. Thanks to all who came it was good to see everyone. Nice to meet you Hiram hope to see you at some of these next year.
As I said the fishing was pretty good for most of us with 4 limits being brought in. There was a real close call between second and third, about as close as it gets.
Congratulations to Bill and Jerry for both lunker pools with a nice small mouth we didn't weigh and 4.11 LG. Nice job guys.
Now for the close call.
Congratulations to Travis and Garret for second place with 5 Lg for 12.84 well done guys.
Third place went to Jerry and Bill with 3 LG and 1 SM for 12.83..... Yes that's 12.83 doesn't get any closer than that.
First place went to Max and I with 4 Lg and 1 sm for 13.64
Great job everyone

Thank you to everyone who came to any of these this year.
I had a tough year but as always I had a lot of fun fishing with everyone. Looking forward to next year and hope to see you guys there.

thanks! how are you 2 love birds doing? Everett did they put in the new ramp at Cozy? if so how does it look?

We fished as much as we could, it was hot up there with no wind, water temp was 75 degs. The ramp is the same but the water was up so all the boats, going in or out had no problems at all..
Caught a ton of pike with the best going 9:2 and the best LM. was 4:3 and Jane had that one. BUT MY BROTHER ?? Monday late in the day, I put on a top water and caught a sm about 2 1/2 lbs. Jane did the same and had one too, about the same as me.. My brother looked in his tackle box, took out a popper type bait, tied it on and cast it out in about 14 or 15 ft. of water ( Jane and I were getting our fish in 8 ft. of water) his bait hit the water and you know what happen ?? POW !!!! Jane put the fish in the net and my brother had a 5:2 sm in the boat .. All the fishing that Jane and I have done over the years, the best sm we have caught is, Jane with a 4:11 and me with a 4:12 ? We were very happy for my brother Dave !!! You be safe pal and we should see you in Oct..

that is awesome Ev, your brother must be walking on air after that fish??? after all these years he gets a monster like that. Congrats to him, tell him we are all jealous here, now! I hope you got pic's? or it didn't happen.
They told us the ramp was getting fixed last fall?? as long as I can get in whenever I get to go...
