    Elite rookies

I want to congratulate Jesse Wiggins for his fine showing in his first Elite year. According to Bassfan, he has double qualified for the Classic, through Elite points and by winning a Southern Open earlier this year. I read earlier he wanted to qualify for the Classic this year with Elite points and not with the Open win. He accomplished this goal. I think it's amazing both he and Dustin Connell did as well as they did on a bunch of lakes they probably never saw prior to official practice days. Both these Alabama guys really know how to fish. Basscat, you have a good representative in Jesse.

And Jesse does it again, wins his second Southern Open of 2017. Three way Classic qualifier and gets Steve Kennedy (another Basscat guy) in the Classic.
    CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN to Jesse.

Oh... and he put an extra $5,000 in his pocket through Quest as a Tier 1 win!

Did you really think he wasn't gonna pull Steve through on Smith?

Steve was monitoring his phone by the second at the Auburn ball game. The Auburn game and Gus's boys were secondary this Saturday.
