    Question New Phoenix 21 PHX

Thinking about pulling the trigger on a 21 PHX. As far as accessories here is what I am thinking - any thoughts you guys have specific to the PHX would be appreciated!

    1) Bob's action Jackplate
    2) Dual 8' blades
    3) Hamby's keel protector
    4) VT2 livewell vents
    5) BBT dash and stacked bow mount
    6) Graphs - Solix 12 in dash/Helix 12 & 10 at bow
    7) Ultrex
    8) transducer shield and saver mounts for jackplate and ultrex
    9) Which four blade prop (Fury?)

If you think you'll kneel down to get into the tackle compartment get the padded cooler. I'd also get the 2nd console hardware added just in case. You can get the console at a later date but would be hard to install the hardware later. 2nd set of rods straps also.

If you get the transducer shield and saver for the trolling motor you will be using the stock transducer. You can take the transducer, before mounting, and exchange it through humminbird for a trolling motor specific transducer. These have extra shielding and look more like a pod. If you exchange you won't need the TSS for the trolling motor and your picture will be better.

    Paint over GatorHyde on trailer,
    brakes on second axle,
    front deck padding,
    compartment ventilation system,

I always like an extra transducer installed in he bilge as a back up

Dual Rod Straps, C Channel Trailer for sure, I would opt out of the large bow step and get a Trick Step instead.

    +1

Also I would add the 360 Imaging up front. May also want to add the DC hardware kit. If you want to add the counsel later you can just order it since the hardware is already there.

Yes on the SHO - love the motor. I've got 360 and an ultrex now so will use the same setup on the Phoenix.

Ive kept up with your story and I know you've been happy - appreciate all your posts. You'll appreciate the blue in my new boat! In all seriousness switching brands has been a really tough decision because I've had this boat now for 7 full season and love it. That said I'm ready for change and like I said when I bought my iclass ride is most important to me.

Can anyone comment on the stacked mount and beefed up dash that Phoenix offers? Trying to figure out whether I will Use a BBT mount or try their system.

I have the dual graph dash mount phoenix offers as an upgrade, I believe it was $200-$250. I have 2 Helix 12s on it, fish Rayburn to Texoma and do not have an issue with securing them. If you fish the Great Lakes, you may want to consider precision sonar's addition to the dual dash mount, but I have their bow panel support and it's legit.

Gotta have some blue! I don't think you will be disappointed with that PHX ride. Sounds like she will be pretty decked out and can't wait to see her.

On the PHX I chose to just mount the factory Lowrance gimbal bracket on the dash and I absolutely love it. Strong as hell, perfect height to see with no glare, and takes me 30 seconds to put on and remove. That's with the lower gauge console. Up front the precision sonar bow plate with the factory gimbal bracket is outstanding as well

you only need to do a transducer exchange of you buy a down imaging unit. for si units we all use the included hd transducer
