Seat in Ranger coming apart at seams

I have a 2002 Ranger 185vx that has seen limited use but lived under a boat cover for most of its life. The vinyl on the bench seat is still lookin really good but the thread stitching in places is coming loose and seems to worsen every time I take it fishing. Was wondering what some of you may have done to address this issue? Seems a waste to completely redo the seat covers.

Thread is probably getting rotten from moisture, looks like new covers will be your only option.......

If the vinyl is still good, and thread holes aren't torn out, you can restitch them in place (assuming you have patience, and are reasonably handy).
You'll need a curved upholstery needle and good outdoor upholstery thread. Google "restitch boat seats" and you'll find a few instructions.
    Example:

If you can remove the seats, an upholstery shop may be willing to repair them in similar fashion - or remove the vinyl skin, restitch and replace the skin.

Ranger can make you new skins exactly like what you have that can save you a bunch. Probably around $300 all said and done will last you many more years.

Bring the seats to someone local and they can probably restitch them for you and save you some money.
