Ufp a-60 brake bleeding not working

I have a single axel, 2008 UFP A-60 trailer that apparently the brakes haven't worked on since I brought it earlier this year. I was attempting to change the brake pads when I noticed that they looked brand new. I checked the fluid at the reservoir and noticed it was bone dry. All of my attempts to bleed the system have been unsuccessful. While stroking the pushrod repeatedly I might see a bubble here or there in the reservoir but the fluid level remains the same. Could I have a bad master cylinder?

Disconnect the line at the back of the master cylinder. You need to bleed the master cyclinder before it can push fluid. If that doesn't get it, the master cyclinder might be bad.

I removed the hose and started going in on the pushrod for an unlimited amount of strokes. Eventually I started hearing a hiss of air, but no fluid. After many more strokes I heard the hiss again and eventually a few drops of very dark(black) fluid hit the ground. It takes a lot of strokes on the pushrod to get a few drops of fluid.

Yes. Put a small vacuum on the bleeder. The trailer tongue will have to be fully extended(brakes not applied )

Check your brake lines from the Master Cylinder back to the caliper. It sounds like you have a kink in the line, OR, remove the line from the back of the MC and see if fluid will come out. You've got a blockage issue. How old is the MC ?

check them how? they run inside the frame of the trailer. I would guess the MC is the age of the trailer, 2008

The vacuum should be hooked to the hose going down the trailer to the brakes or hooked to backside of the MC where I disconnected the hose for the brake lines? sorry I'm confused, been a week since I thought about this.

First on the MC to bleed it. Then the calipers to bleed them and the lines

This^^ On my trailer both rubber lines( at tongue and over axle) were plugged solid and had to replace both. Cleaned/blew out metal brake lines with my air compressor while lines were unhooked from the calipers.

I'm going through this all right now too. How did you make the air to brake line connection? I was thinking of the best way to accomplish this.
